Amy began her post-secondary education at Wilfrid Laurier University, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Honours Kinesiology. She then went on to complete her Masters of Physiotherapy at McMaster University. She began her career practicing in an orthopaedic setting, and then transitioned to working with clients with pelvic health concerns.
Amy is passionate about working with individuals to address their pelvic health needs, and enjoys providing a comprehensive approach to treatment including tailored exercise programs, education, lifestyle modification, and manual therapy. Amy is committed to empowering her clients and giving them the necessary tools to manage their symptoms and meet their goals, whatever they may be! Amy has taken advanced training in pelvic health and specializes in treating women with concerns such as incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, urinary dysfunction, diastasis recti and various pelvic pain conditions including vaginismus, dyspareunia, vulvodynia and endometriosis. She is experienced in treating women both during and after pregnancy. Additionally, she is trained to help children who suffer from bedwetting, constipation and day-time incontinence.
Amy is a member of the International Pelvic Pain Society and the Women’s Health Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
In her spare time, Amy enjoys practicing yoga, running, baking, and reading.
